UMMC uniform guidelines?

OK, so I know this sounds silly but do hospitals have requirements for shoe colors/styles like schools do?

I am getting ready to buy my school shoes and am willing to invest in Dansko's but thought...well, if they won't work for work when I'm done, maybe I should buy something to get me through school and invest in Danskos afterwards when I become employed.

Any thoughts on my trivial inquiry?

I also would like to know if UMMC has any specific scrubs colors or if any scrubs are fair game. Are any units different like the ED?

I know that all employees in Shock Trauma wear pink scrubs. Don't know about the rest of the hospital...

The rest of the hospital has blue scrubs that you obtain from a vending machine, just like in trauma.

there are no uniform guidelines for ummc except for STC, L&D, and maybe ED :yeah:
