UMD SON Spring 2018

We really aren't going to hear back until Thanksgiving!?! Then classes start in January? I need to find housing once I know..

I've been worrying about that too. That means if we're accepted then we'll have about 8 weeks to find housing, deal with the moving process itself/getting settled, and go through orientation/sign up for classes...all while finishing up the current semester.

That and I'm just super impatient, lol.

I was reading another thread, here- https://allnurses.com/online-nursing-schools/umson-bsn-spring-1103571-page4.html and one of the posters, MaleNurse253 said that he called the admissions office on October 17th and decisions will be released at the beginning of November. They're going to be released in batches and everyone will have an answer by Thanksgiving. I thought they we would know end of October! So anxious, I can't wait to have a decision!

I'm sorry that you guys have to deal with finding housing! I didn't even think about that as I live in Baltimore City. That's really unfortunate. Good luck to you both!

Have you all checked lately?!

I checked twice today, and at around 4 pm, "Committee Ready" changed to "Decision Made." I got in! I'm a provisional admit because I'm taking Stats right now, but it shouldn't be a problem. I've heard as long as you receive a B or better in the final course(s), you're good to go! Anyone else have updates? This forum is quieter than the others...
