Umass-ABSN 2012

Thanks for starting this!

I also handed in my application last week. I was wondering if anyone would ever start a thread for this year. I have to say, reading some of the posts on here can be a bit scary in terms of going back to school and then looking for a job, I've just wanted to do this for too long to turn back though! Do you know anyone who is currently in the ABSN program at Umass or has gone through it?

But yes,I know someone who just finished her cohort this summer. It took her a couple of months to find a job, but she eventually did.. but it's out-of state.

She said the program is super competitive and is ALOT of work.

On the other thread a poster sadi she had gone on an interview at UMASS already. She had submitted her application pretty early and way before the 02/01 deadline. She said they explained to her that those who submitted on or around the deadline will received a letter of acceptance or not by the beginning of March.

She will lucky hear back by next week I think.
