What are the steps to complete this question
Question: A child weighing 88lbs is to receive morphine sulphate. The recommended dose for this child is Morphine Sulphate 0.2mg/kg/dose. Morphine sulphate is supplied as 15mg/ml. How many ml should the nurse administer for 1 dose?
What I do is change 88lbs to kg which is 40kg. Then i multiply the weight by the ordered mg. then divide by the supplied mg but my answer isnt correct 0.53ml. Im not sure what im doing wrong

Why would you not tell us the answer you are getting?

What answer are you getting and what answer do you think you should be getting?
0.53ml
Is that the answer you're getting, or the answer you think you should be getting?

What source is telling you your answer is wrong and what are they saying the answer should be? I worked it out and got the same answer you did.

+1. I got the same answer.
My test said the correct answer was 2.4ml but it did not indicate how that answer was achieved
I think I would follow-up with your instructor on this one b/c 2.4mL is 4.5 times the recommended safe dose.
