Hey all, I am a recent grad of an LPN program out here in Massachusetts and am starting the RN program at a local college in a couple of weeks. I was able to test out of the first year of nursing school due to my current abilities and plan on going into an RN-MSN program directly afterward. Anyway, I am being hassled by my buddy to move out to L.A. and the idea doesn't seem too bad. I was looking online and saw UCLA had an RN-MSN program that is 3 years straight through (summer, fall, spring) and it didn't seem too bad on paper, pretty equivlent to what Northeastern and Boston College have out here. My question is, does anyone know anyone or have any person experience with this program or one like it? Any advice? Is this a program that is so demanding that I will not be able to work as an RN? Also, whats the job perspective for an ACNP in SoCal (job availability, pay, quality of life?). Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks everyone.
