UCLA New Grad Program 2010

Has anyone heard anything back from the UCLA New Grad Summer Program for 2010? I applied in the beginning of February and have only had a phone interview so far, with no feedback yet. Any info or others' experience would be much appreciated, thank you!

I got the email & my status says "we have contacted you for an interview" also. Yay we made it to the next step:yeah: haha. Guess we just wait for them to contact us to schedule the Talent Plus interview. FYI, I applied to the ER, Step-Down/Med-Surg, & Oncology.

Hey everyone,

I applied on October 25th at night. My application went through, with no wait list. I'm anxious because I hear of people already being contacted to schedule their phone interview, but my app status still says received/assessment completed/all required documents submitted. Do you guys know how long it takes from experience?

Thank you.

Hey Bluekal, mine says the same thing too. Anybody have any insights

Hey Fellow nurses

I also applied to UCLA on the 26th of Oct and got called this past thurs/fri to do the talentplus interview today actually. I just got off the phone and wow I feel weird. It was an annoying experience for me, and I think she might have picked that up with the last questions she asked me. I think I was fairly calm during the whole process and answered truthfully and to the best of my ability....but those "tell me about" or "give an example questions were getting under my skin because either I couldnt think of something good or I already answered the question from the previous question, yet I was asked it to give an example! ***!

Anyway I really hope I get a real interview. I applied for the NICU, PEDS and STEP-DOWN units and would be happy in any. Ive been out of school for a year now and times are definitely getting worse.

All the phone interviewer told me is that she will forward my response within 24 hours to UCLA and she doesnt know when they will contact me.

Will keep my fingers crossed, because this is the only bite Ive gotten after applying to more than 400 jobs!

Hi all,

This forum is great! I applied on Oct. 25th, and was contacted about the phone interview last week. I had my TalentPlus interview today as well, and I don't feel great about it at all :( I have to agree with what most of you are saying... that it was weird! So... the next step would be a recruiter interview, right? Does anyone know if the recruiter interview is a phone interview or in-person? Good luck to everyone. Keep us posted!

Hello Rojo2030,

Congrats on the talent plus interview! what school did you go to?

UCLA provides phone interviews instead of in person interviews?

UCLA provides phone interviews instead of in person interviews?

The first step is a phone interview with a company called Talent Plus. Then they move on to in-person interviews.

Can anyone tell how detail the Qs are? Is it personal about application or nursing cases?

The phone interview-At first it's a real person then its an animated voice asking the questions and then recording your answers. At least it was for me. I kept repeating myself. But I am remaining positive, LOL...The May new grads said it took about 2 weeks after to get calls to do the nurse recruiter interview. I wonder if it will be the same for us...

Josh3 you are our competition. Come on buddy, do your research...
