UCLA or CSULB?

Which BSN nursing program is better? UCLA or CSULB?

Both are good equally since they will prepare you to be a nurse. I'd go for the CSU though. Nursing school should never cost so much at a UC and should not be hard to get into. UCLA has one of the most toughest prereqs ever, similar to getting into medical school, like genetics and cell biology.

CSULA is better for getting in, but any nursing school will do, as long as it is accredited and you will pass your RN board exam.

go for the school that is cheaper and most convenient for you. in the end, an RN is an RN is an RN, regardless of where you graduate from. you will work with other RNs who graduated from community colleges and Ivy league schools and almost ALL of you will receive the same amount in pay check, though the BSN may receive some dollars or cents more.

very true snake and they only take one transfer at UCLA. there program is ridiculous and their BSN program is newer.

My nurse friend said with UCLA it was easier to get a job. One of her friend's kid graduated from UCLA.

My high school daughter will apply to UCLA and CSU LB and others. If she can get scholarships at UCLA we might consider going there. If not CSU LB will be the next best choice since I am also working for CSU and we get some tuition unit waive so it will cost much less.

But I still think UCLA is more prestige for employers??
