I just got accepted into UCF's upper division BSN program starting August 2008!!! :) I was wondering where UCF nursing students live? I don't know if I should live around UCF campus or not since the hospitals are not close to campus. Thanks sooo much and congrats to any other nursing students who got accepted!! :)

Congrats!! I was accepted to their accelerated BSN starting this May. Would like some suggestions on what part of town is the best to live in as well!

Well I would say live close to campus, I don't hink that much time is really spent at the hospital and then it is probably not just one hospital.
I currently live downtown and am thinking of staying here. I am only 5 min from the major hospitals and about 20 min from campus. The plus is that I will be going AGAINST traffic on 408 during rush hour, where as if I were to live by UCF and have to head to a hospital I would be directly in it. I know a few people who make that commute and it just does not sound fun!

Congrats! what was your Gpa when you applied?
Thanks!! My overall GPA was a 3.88. Did you apply there too?
I was thinking of living downtown as well because I figured that if I have clinicals early in the morning I will want to live as close to the hospitals as possible...I need all the time I can get in the morning!! I like the sound of going against traffic too =)

Hello! Im new to this website :) I sent my application for Fall of 09(BSN program) but the program moved my application for spring of 010 to one of the regional campuses in Cocoa beach which is 40 minutes away from the Orlando campus. So my question is should i live in the off campus housing near Orlando campus and commute to the Cocoa beach campus because I can not afford to stay in the apartments near cocoa beach campus and I don't know anyone to rent with so the off campus housing seems more affordable because they take financial aid instead if paying monthly.
