UCF ABSN Summer 2020

I haven't seen a thread for this upcoming cycle yet. The application opens in January and I was wondering if anyone else was planning on applying.

I just submitted my application! It seemed pretty easy and straightforward. Also just sent them my official TEAS score report. Does anyone know if we have to attend the transfer student orientation for consideration? Or can we put that off until we get accepted or denied?

You do not have to attend the student orientation until you find out if you have been accepted to the nursing program.

Hi guys! I applied on the 8th and think I'll be a nervous wreck until March...

Overall GPA - 3.24

Pre-req GPA - 3.93

TEAS - 93.3%

My pre-requisites are still pending verification, but everything else has a green check. Hopefully they'll all be green checks soon!

Hi everyone! I also applied for this upcoming cycle and I'm already anxious for March to roll around with decisions!

Here are my stats:

Overall GPA- 4.0

Pre-req GPA- 4.0

TEAS- 89.3%

Everything on my application has a green check except for my pre-requisites. I'm still waiting for UCF to process my transcripts from this past semester, so hopefully that will be updated soon!

Hey everyone! I applied on the 2nd and got all four green checkmarks a couple of nights ago, so y’all should be getting those pretty soon, if you’re still waiting on them. Now comes the worst of it: waiting!! Good luck to everyone that has already applied!!

UCF hasn’t even accepted me into the general school yet even though I applied in September, so that’s not a good sign ? Luckily I have 4 other Florida schools I’m applying to.

I would definitely reach out to a Nursing Academic Advisor and let them know what's going on! I was in a similar situation, so at the end of December I made an appointment and they were a big help in getting my application processed on time.

Do you have to do this in person? I'm from New York so I wouldn't be able to go to campus.

Yes, there's an option to make a phone appointment instead of meeting in person. If you're not a phone person, then I'm sure you could always email an advisor, as well. Hope this helps!

Has anyone been able to apply to the Helene Fuld scholarship? I can now see it but it says that this opportunity is not accepting applications.

I sent my TEAS scores on the 6th but it is still saying Pending Verification so I'm nervous! ?

Not too confident in my stats but here they are:

Overall GPA- 3.62

Pre-req GPA- 3.75

Non Pre-req GPA - 3.75

TEAS- 85.3%

Hopefully I have a chance. Good luck to everyone!

Does anyone know how to access the application? I just finally got accepted to UCF but I have no idea how to access the application. Plus, online it says we should fill out the application from Jan 1-Jan 15 so I'm super close to the deadline.

Edit: I found it! Nevermind.

For those of us applying for the Helene Fund Scholarship, don't forget that the deadline to get the FAFSA done is the 15th! We have to do the one for 2019-2020 ?
