UBC vs BCIT

Hi all,I am applying to both UBC ad BCIT for nursing and I am not quite sure which one to choose as they seem quite different, mainly on the length of the program but I am sure there are many more differences that I am not aware of. Is there anyone who is on the same boat as me? Can you give me some insights on their programs if you have finished the program from those two schools? Thanks a lot in advance!

There's thread already from a few weeks ago with some good info

However in my opinion BCIT would be the better choice but that depends how much schooling you already have as BCIT requires you to have at least 30 post secondary credits and most people who apply have 60-120.

BCIT is a bit cheaper, it's 3 years of actual nursing courses ( UBC) it's only two. But again it's kinda depends on what you have already.

I'd suggest going to information sessions for both and let that help you make your decision

Good luck
