I have applied for 2022 as well. I am just recently finding out about this thread, but I am thankful for it! Does anyone have an interview yet?
From reading past discussions and their website, I don’t think they send out invites until June. It seems so far away.
According to a few of my coworkers who got in last year, they received an invitation to interview mid June. Did all of you guys apply to Samford as well?

No Samford for me
For those of y'all who knew people who'd applied/been accepted last year did they say how the interviews were?
@Katie.Coffee.Cardiac. I wondered that myself. What types of questions are asked?
I only applied to UAB.
@CRNADreaming22 it does seem so far away...but it does seem like they take time to review each candidate fully which is positive, I feel.

I think last year was a little bit different and everything went out late. Looking back through previous threads and talking to a few of the people that I know that were accepted in previous year- it looks like the interview notifications typically go out mid-week in the first week of June. It feels SO CLOSE but SO FAR AWAY! ?

According to the people that I've talked to it seems more like a get-to-know-you type of interview. There is a clinical question portion of the interview, however, it's not the majority of what the panel wants to know about us. When I attended the info session for UAB a few months ago Dr. McMullan seemed like she wanted the interview to be more about how you will fit into the program and how the program will fit you and less about it being a clinical battery. UAB is super big on diversity and I know that they will be looking for a cross-section of diversity in their class, so they will want to know about the prospective students they're interviewing on a more personal level rather than just what medical knowledge we can regurgitate.
