Types of Substance Testing

Nurse in Texas. Doing random drug testing for a year cause I was caught taking 1 adderall to prepare of a school test in between work days. I've been doing the tests for a few months now at Quest Diagnostics. OPTION #3 came up today. Lately I've been tested with OPTION #1 & #2.

What are the differences in these tests?

Type 1 = Drug

Type 2 + Alcohol (ETG)

?

?

Thank you in advance

It should not matter since these programs are almost always total abstinence. Unless your contract is different you should be totally abstinent with nothing to worry about.

I understand how that came off now after reading my question. I'm not trying to cheat the system by any means. I don't do drugs. Occasionally had drinks with dinner or celebrations but that's stopped. However, this process has put a considerable amount of stress on me, for good reason. Knowing what's going on with these tests puts me at ease if you will. I appreciate the concern but if you're unable to answer the question, don't waste anyone's time, and just move on with your life.
