Does anyone have any information on Michigan's Nurse's Tuition Forgiveness Program?
My understanding is that it's only for nurses who qualify by working at "need" hospitals. Lack of staff, training, etc...
Any info is appreciated.

St John Hospital have a Loan Forgiveness Program. Call St John and ask for Human Resources and tell them that you would like to get information about their loan forgiveness program. What I do know is that you have to be admitted and enrolled in a Nursing program and you have to maintain a C or better. Also, for every 2,000 you take out you will give St John 1 year of Service at one of their hospitals.
Hope This helps

I'm aware of that one for St. John specifically. I've heard that there is also a state run program. Do you (or anyone) have information on that one.
Thanks

Easiest thing to do is to contact the BON in Lansing, and they will be able to give you all of the information. You are correct, a program does exist.

Check this link out. I think the disbursement and how to apply for the loan varies by school.
