Stars hope Tinker continues to use it

Ado enjoy your time off

Tweety hope the next shift is less crazy

Work was kinda crazy for me. Ironically it wasn't the work for the person who was off...there was actually not at lot to do for her...but my own work that got crazy. Confused situations regarding multiple calls and emails, special requests, plenty of documents received, etc...plus a new case. I did get out on time but did have to cut lunch a bit short.

After work decided to do the grocery shopping a day early, given the very hot weather that is coming. Afterwards just rested, legs still sore from all the walking on Sunday. Slept better last night

Today the coworker is back, although I do have to find time to spend on the side project today and have a bit more work than usual. Nothing going on after work except exercise, planning to stay in

Going to be in the upper 90s and fairly humid here too

Good morning.

Joe, hope it's less crazy today.

We're still in the "feels like" temps of over 100.

I went to the grocery store and plan on going to Trader Joes for a couple of things after my haircut which is near there.

Had dental cleaning this morning and it was time for X-rays and an exam from the dentist. He has been watching a couple of cracked teeth for a year or more and one is needing a crown now. He identified the other one that will be next but can wait. I appreciate he doesn't do things until they really need them rather than when they don't. Thankfully I still have some left in my Health Savings Account to pay for the crown. Although it's still my money, it feels less painful if it's not coming out of my checking or savings.

Otherwise going to meal prep. In the coming six days I have only Friday off and need to do better than take out Chinese.

Hey Joe, hey Tweety~

After a long wait the POD has finally arrived and I got the driver to open the door of it and my friend's husband to open their garage door, and now I am about to start unloading as much as I can for the time being, before the usual afternoon rainstorm comes. I'll be back later on....

I can't believe this, but given this age and time, they are now requiring 2 forms of identification to even forward your mail to a new address; one photo and something else. And I have 20 days to do it; and the letter came from Worcester, Massachusetts! I wonder if I need to get my Fla driver's license first or after? I dunno. But my laptop is sooooooo slow, I hesitate to try to find out which Post Office will "in-person proof" me, because that will require I get off this site, and it only took about 40 minutes for the laptop to become amenable and finally go to allnurses! I just let it sit, open, and on allnurses Tuesday, and eventually it decided it might as well do it or die! Because if I can't get it to straighten out, I'll go buy one that knows how to work! I have tried deleting a bunch of stuff, but so far it hasn't seemed to make a difference!

Speaking of working and making a difference.... I can't believe how well ARNICA works; the only homeopathic medicine I have ever taken that does just exactly what it says it does.... relieve muscle cramps! I get them in my thighs and my "knee-balls"....(what hubby used to call the muscles around the knee-caps, or is it patella or patelli ?) Anyway, it is a real relief to be able to take something during the 12 hours between the AM and PM doses of Anti-Gypsy medicines.

Haven't got the POD emptied out yet; I have a week, and J has her younger niece with her daughter cleaning out SOME of the garage. I won't be able to get this bohemoth bed out of my room until it can have the mattress encased or enveloped in something that will keep it clean, (ie so no garage floor stains occur) and she's 'afraid it will mildew' because if it is out there a while, and she doesn't know how long "a while" will be.... Well, you can see the problem 🤪. Which, since nothing of all the junk ( and there is a LOT of that!) she has out in the garage has actually ever mildewed, I believe this idea is maybe a bit caused by the hydrocodone she is taking, "Usually two" instead of the one as prescribed, and every three hours instead of four hours 🙄 She doesn't have a follow up appt until the 20th. Okie-dokie then, I am not her nurse or even 'a' nurse at all anymore. I gave my opinion once and THAT'S quite enough, doncha think?

It's the end of the day and I am tired, so I will try to find where that USPS is located, that can identify me so they can stop holding my mail until I get clearance from the Post Master General.

Hope all are well!

PS: When I went to post this, the laptop stopped cold for ten minutes, and I just now got it back in order to submit it!

We are camping for a few days near Mt. Rainier. Youngest ds and I went for a hike in the am, before it got too warm. It was about a mile and half, mostly uphill, puff, puff. We saw a loveliest of waterfalls and lots of wildflowers along the way. We had a quick sandwich for lunch, and then decided it was too hot for anymore hiking. We came back to the camp and the trailer was 96 degrees inside! It took some time to cool off with the little bitty air conditioner, plus all the surfaces were hot. We went out for to eat dinner, so that we wouldn't heat up the trailer. Its cooled down nicely. We plan to get up and leave by 7 to get to the next hike location.

Stars, it seems that your new life is working out quite nicely. It's so odd how each state does their licenses. In my state, the same state department that does drivers licenses, does motor vehicle licenses and nursing licenses. So I do my renewals all on the same site.

Tweety, word of advice is to get all your major dental work done before you get Medicare. You can get dental insurance, but we've found it doesn't cover much. Just my 2 cents.

Annie, I'm glad you have a week off. I've noticed magnesium seems to help, but it's subtle.
