I start the prgram at tspn in april, what type of info are you looking for??
Hi, just wanted to know more info than what was online. I actually just drove there yesterday and took the TEAS test and passed, so im supposed to start in July. I didnt know they had a class starting in April because they only mentioned July. It must be full. What day in April does it start? Also, have you spoke to anyone who has passed the 2nd quarter? I saw a youtube post of a lady that said they intentionally fail people. Was wondering was that true. Also, are you in Michigan or Ohio?
Crazy but I saw that video as well! A couple of nurses that work at my job went there and they say it's all about studying and memory! The next class starts April 1st that is when I start!! I'm in Michigan ? what a drive this will be
Oh ok. So i guess that means they dont fail everyone. Just wondering because I was also looking into Athena career academy.
No they aren't failing everyone.... Several LPN at my job went there and passed the NClex the first time as well! Maybe it was her study techniques and memory tactics. Where is Athena?
Athena is in Toledo about ten minutes away from TPS. But i just found out on Ohio nursing board site that they dont have full accredidation,so that shuts that down. I know a few ppl that went to PSI which is 12 min away from TPS. That is suppose to be a good school. TPS is a lot cheaper tho. As far as financial aid, was that process ok? I will be working with Michigan Works and they seemed like they didnt even wana start on my paper work. I guess maybe they wana wait til I turn all my docs in. What are in Mich are you from? Also let me know anything else you think I may need to know about TPS. Thanks ttyl
Yes I heard PSI was good and they have evening classes! But TSP financial aid officer is Bessie Mack you should go ahead and complete your FASFA and add TSP as the school you plan to attend. You will use pell grant which max amount is 5500 and apply for loans for the rest. You will have to complete a promissory note in order for you to get a student loan. Did you get the information packet and start on the info needed? If not you should you will need to get your shot records, physical and etc along with a background checks. What program is available thru Michigan Works? I currently stay in Novi, MI so I have a 40min to and hour drive there and back ? but I was considering DBI and Dorsey but while they are in Michigan the downtown commute would be about the same as Ohio without the stop and go traffic.... Best wishes at whatever choice you make
