Trying to get into an NP program

Published

Hello, I am looking for some advice. I will be done with my BSN in May 2014 and am looking to apply to NP programs. My ADN gpa is 2.53, and my BSN gpa for the last 39 credits is 3.97, this makes my current combo gpa 2.955 with 13 credits to go. I have been able to achieve A's this far and believe I will continue to do so in my last semester. Furthermore, I have great references, and I have experience in longterm care, SICU, and the ETC. I have also been able to get the dean of my BSN program to give me a reference. What are the chances I will get a shot at a program? I am hoping that my BSN, with a gpa of over 3.90, will show a recommitment to education and will be sufficient to get me in. Any thoughts on the matter would be great.
