Travel outside of the US

Hi, does anyone know if, after being commisioned and placed in inactive status- before receiving orders, can u travel outside of the US? If so does this travel need to be authorized or anything? Thanks for any help/information you can share.

Well, don't quote me or anything, but if you raised your hand and took the Oath, you are now Government Property.

I would suggest you contact your PMO and ask her/him. Remember that there are several countries that are "off limits" or extremely dangerous to travel to.

For instance, certain states in Mexico are Off Limits and Restricted to USA personnel
