Travel Nursing

I am a travel nurse and want to take an assignment in New England (possibly Mass area). However, I have never been anywhere in the region and am not sure where would be a good place to go. Does anyone have any experience working anywhere in New England that might be able to tell me the better places to look regarding assignments, pay, housing,, etc?

Thanks!!

Good morning! :) I moved your post to the Travel Nursing forum to encourage maximum responses.

A friend of mine has been doing ER travel all over NE, and she loved Vermont! Not sure where, sorry I am not more helpful.

Thank you, I didn't realize there was a specific travel nursing forum.

Boston is nice but likely an over saturated market. Cape Cod probably uses travelers in summer since it is a vacation area. New England has beautiful areas and depressed areas. Ask your recruiter who is hiring. Northampton, Amherst and the Berkshires are nice. Fall is beautiful I in New England.

If you are new to it, go to a medium sized facility that is close to what your used to working in and is known to be travel friendly. Any place you go will be new and you will have a different experience outside of work than you have had prior.
