transferring schools?

I am currently a freshman pre-nursing student at Our Lady of Holy Cross. I am really unhappy there and have no one my age in any one of the classes I have taken this whole school year. I don't find the people here as helpful as they claim to be either. I really am considering transferring and would love to eventually go to LSU's nursing school especailly since they accept applicant in the spring and fall semesters and not just in the fall like our lady of holy cross.. Would it be a good idea for me to attend UNO to finish my pre-reqs for a semester or even a year and apply to LSU's nursing school? Would this affect my chances of getting in and would it be worth it? How many times do you generally apply to LSU before getting in? I could really use some advice and help before transferring schools.

You need to contact the school you want to transfer to and ask them. They will be able to tell you better than anyone else.

If you want to attend LSU SON then why not take the pre-reqs through LSU instead of UNO. UNO is about the same price. If you want to attend a school in Nola then it's better to take ur classes at delgado then transfer to lsu once you have your pre-reqs, just always make sure the class you take transfers, which most from delgado do. Also, LSU is very competitive.
