transfering my licence

Hello,

I'm a new Grad living in Ontario Canada. I got a call 2 weeks ago about a possible position in a hospital, in Connecticut.

Who is the licencing authority for Connecticut? is it the CNA? or is that the "union"(even though it doesnt say union anywhere on thier site). I know that my Canadian licence is transferable to Connecticut.

anyone know what the US government site is? I'm trying to find out how to get a green card. unfortunitly when I type green card into a search engine I get credit cards and Media (how predictable) not exactly what I want.

Hope to hear from you soon. We're finaly getting snow with a month to go till Christmas.
