I am currently a sophomore at a TN college (BSN w/minor in Spanish). I plan to transfer to Montgomery County Community College to complete the rest of my pre-reqs, which is like 5 more courses (depending on whether or not my credits will transfer) & then apply to UMB's nursing program. I have taken A&P 1&2 and received B's in both....I will be taking Chem this semester...and I plan to take Micro at Montgomery this upcoming summer & volunteer @ a local hospital. Do you think I should re-take the A&P courses to receive an A in both? Also, I struggled w/ a course and failed it but I took the course again and received an A....Then, my college algebra prof failed his whole class this past semester (the university had trouble w/ him before but didnt decide to fire him until after he screwed his last class over)! So, I'm taking this class over with another prof....Do you think these failing grades will hurt my chances of geing into UMB?

I don't think so, when you repeat a class I don't think they look at the previous grade. Good Luck I plan on applying there soon Spring 2010 semester!
thanks....good luck to you as well!
So do you have an experience in the medical field? I heard that it's good to have experience in the medical field when applying.
Yes I do, I currently work at a hospital in MD as a PCT II (Nursing Assistant) and Telemetry Technician. I've been in healthcare field for a little over 3 years.
