transfer question!! please help!!!!

Hi all,

I finished A&P1 and PSY101, College algebra last fall semester, and i am taking A&P2, Life span development, and ENG101 in NY.

I am going to move to Miami after this semester, so i applied to Miami Dade college for summer semester 2014.

Here is what I am so confused. I have read that the new community college accepts my credit from previous institution but not my grade. In that case, when I apply to nursing program after finishing all pre reqs, Does nursing admission will just now care my GPA from NY? Do they just care about my rest classes from new school in Miami??

Or will they require transcript from both school in NY and school in Miami?

I have very good grade now, so I am concerned that nursing admission ignore my current GPA.

Can anybody tell me about this?

Thank you!!!

When it comes time to apply for nursing schools, they will take your grades achieved into account. Depending on the school, they will either look at your cumulative GPA or they will only look at your prerequisite GPA. They will require transcripts from all of the schools you have attended.
