Transcript not received

I apologize in advance if this has been answered as I am not very adept at using this site. I attended Shushruti College of Nursing in Bangalore, India and graduated with BSc in 2010. I was licensed and was working in New Delhi as well as in the gulf. I am now married and moving to New York this year so I submitted an application to CGFNS to take the NCLEX exam. This was in Jan 2014. So far everything has been received except for my transcript. According to CGFNS, they have mailed a request to my college but upon calling the college, they say they have not received anything from CGFNS. The college of nursing is now closed, but the college is still open. It has been 7 months and this is the only thing that I am waiting on before I can move forward. CGFNS has been giving me conflicting information; one customer representative told me that if they were not able to contact the college, they would mail the request directly to me and that I would be able to bring it to the college myself. The next representative told me that is not allowed. I am a bit confused. Has anyone had an application denied because of failure to correspond with the college despite collecting all other required information?

If anyone has any experience with a similar situation or can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it a lot. Thank you and sorry again if this question has been answered.

    If the CGNFS is for Credential Evaluations, then you can take it to your school and have them mail it directly to CGNFS. I did this a few years ago for a school in Philippines, and I also paid for international delivery with either DHL or Fed Ex so it wouldn't take forever and a day to arrive in USA.

    With CVS for NY then usually CGFNS make all applications and transcripts sent otherwise is not always excepted. My understanding is CGFNS will send all received documents to NY after 6 months and then NY will make a decision and most send transcripts then which BON will accept

    Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry, I'm not sure that I understand. Are you saying that I should take my transcript to the school it self and have them mail it directly or that I should send it directly to NY Board of Nursing when my application is under review?

    It is true. i have done a lot of research in this website and have found all your comments ver useful. i have completed nursing in India. in order to get my transcripts verified i applied to CGFNS-CVS. It took more than 6 months to get a reply from them. But they couldn't get the transcripts from my college in India:( Once i got a response from them i applied to NYBON. CGFNS forwarded the same info to NYBON, so later a person from NYBON emailed two forms which he wanted my college to fill and send to them directly. I forwarded the forms to my college and asked them to send the filled forms to the address given by the NYBON person's office and in a month i was given the green signal to take NCLEX. i am preparing for NCLEX right now. I'm married and have a 10 month old. Please do pray for me that I get through NCLEX. i have registered for nclex and waiting for ATT. Its been a week.
