TPR Graphing

hey guys, wondering if you could help me with this one...let's say a patient was admitted in the hospital at 4 pm..when his temperature is taken will you graph it immediately under 4pm even though he was just admitted?

Yes, that's how I understand it also but my clinical instructor told us that if the patient was just admitted you are to graph his temperature under 12 pm or 12 am no matter wat time he came in and I'm just a bit confused about this one.
