It's been over 4 years since I was prescribed narcs from my pain management dr following a car accident. I have never worked as a nurse. I applied for nursing school in 2011 and graduated in 2013. I had to sign paperwork stating that I would sign up for tpapn as soon as I passed my exam. I signed up for tpapn in June of 2014 and was just released to seek employment as a nurse in September. Although it's been since 2010 when I was last prescribed meds, I am still subject to do everything as if I worked as a nurse. I'm finding it difficult to find employment simply because I have no experience as a nurse and a lot of employers are seeking at least a 1 yr of experience in an inpatient hospital. Even the nursing homes are looking for experience nurses. I can't seem to win. This is so frustrating.
Thanks in advance for any feedback
