TPAPN HFT

HELLO ALL,

I AM IN MY LAST 11 MONTHS OF TPAPN AND HAVE NEVER FAILED A UA TEST, HOWEVER I DID HAVE 1 COME BACK INVALID AND THEN PASSED THE NEXT ONE WITH NO ISSUES. AFTER GETTING RESULT OF NEW UA AFTER INVALID A DAY LATER I WAS REQUESTED TO TAKE HFT. I WENT TO TAKE SPECIMEN TODAY AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO CUT OFF 3 OF MY ENTIRE LOCKS, NOT OK. I ALSO HAD AN EDIBLE IN VEGAS WITH FRIENDS UNKNOWINGLY SO I KNOW THAT ITS IN MY HAIR FOR SURE. I REFUSED THE HAIR FOLLICLE TEST. THIS WOULD BE MY FIRST FAILED TEST IF I WOIULD HAVE TAKEN IT. I WILL NOT CUT MY HAIR ITS PART OF MY CULTURE AND WHO I AM. HAS ANYONE HAD ANY EXPERIENCES WITH THIS TEST AND WHAT WAS DONE DUE TO THE REFUSAL. I'm WILLING TO TAKE BLOOD SAMPLE ETC. AND WILL BE HONEST ABOUT THE EDIBLE I JUST DON'T WANT TO LOSE MY LICENSE. ANY RECOMMENDATION? I AM PREPARED TO FIGHT THE BON WITH A LAWYER, IF IT GOES THERE.

    I am in TPAPN and my contract states any missed or refused test is a positive.

    Please be careful of ingesting anything from anyone else. I am not being snarky, but, you cannot trust anyone while in this contract. I do not eat one thing at potlucks, etc. My family knows how important this is to me and although I do eat with them, at cook-outs, etc, I still question every ingredient. It is my livelihood and I am not willing to risk it for ANYONE.

    If I am invited to places, I simply take my own food or do not eat (eat before and use as an excuse). I know it seems extreme, but, I am paranoid and it is only 3 years of my life that I have to do it.

    You could try to get an attorney, but know once it is a board order, its public. If you can finish TPAPN, then it stays confidential. They might tack on time to your program and force another eval, so you will have to weigh the pros and cons. Good luck to you! I'm pulling for you.

    thank you for responding I was asked to do a UA today, I've spoken to lawyer and CM so hopefully I don't receive a letter of investigation. However, if I am I have a lawyer ready to fight for me.
