What kinds of things help keep you organized during clinical (such as report sheets etc)? Do you just jot things down on a piece of paper, is there an organization to it? What helps you keep everything about your patients together?

It helps to try to go in order. Granted you are kinda at the mercy of the nurse giving report, but still, my report sheets always started with neuro/head at the top of the page, and ended with peripheral stuff towards the bottom. Labs on one side, vitals on the other, meds/ special interventions on the very bottom. Always worked for me. Just fill in the blanks...
If I wasn't at work (posting here during breaks/lunch of course), I could send you a template for the one I used in school. I'll try to remember to add one later...

When I was in clinicals I could not function without my report sheets. One was for report and the other was an hourly breakdown of what I needed to get down. I still you it today and I have been a nurse for 3 years now.
I would love a template! I usually just jot stuff down and obviously it gets messy. When I'm at work (as a tech) I keep things pretty organized, but it's a whole new world with the info you're getting on the floor playing nurse. ;-) Thanks guys!

I would really love to see this template also!
Well, I of course forgot to get a copy of mine, but I did a little digging here on the site and found several threads which may be helpful:

Hope you find somethign worthwhile there. If not, let me know and I'll get mine when I can...
