I just took the NCLEX on May 1st. I came out so overwhelmed and with a weird feeling about the test. I had no idea how I did, but I was really scared. The test stopped at 85 questions. I have since read a lot of things here on allnurses and I've been told that stopping at 85 questions is a really good sign, and the vast majority pass with 85.
I am worried that I failed because I didn't get many Select all that apply questions, and I think if I was getting them right and getting harder questions that I should have received way more of them. I'm scared.

All I can say is congratulations, you have made it this far.
Mine stopped at 85 as well, and I passed. Don't worry about the numbers (easier said than done). Just know that you got through school and you will get through this too.
Good Luck, cant wait to hear that you passed!
Is it a bad sign if I didn't get many Select all that apply questions ?

I Wasent Expecting To Go That Far Before I Took The Test So I'm Really Sick And I Live In California So It's A 3 Week Wait And I'll Know But I Have No Idea How I Did So Good Luck.

I just took the NCLEX-PN on May 7th, I got 109 questions and I now have to wait 3-4 weeks before I find out if I passed as I am in California.
I know I got the last question right, once it went past 85 I knew I had to really focus and concentrate. I knew I was still in the running and these questions past the first 85 would be the deciding questions.
I got many SATA and meds and priority. I felt good about it although many of the meds I never heard of! so at the same time I am scared...
but it doesn't make sense...like if I got the last question wrong, the computer would have thrown another question at me or failed me - but I know for a fact I got it right, then the exam shut down, so I am hopeful.
I decided to just act as if I passed, prepare my resume etc, and if I failed I will deal with it then. I hope hope hope I passed but you never know...I will be very very disappointed if I failed but I can't make myself miserable for the next 3-4 weeks so I choose to be positive about this!!! (I'm trying!!!)
BTW I think getting 85 questions is a good sign, I think most people pass with 85. I wish my computer had shut down at 85 but when it went past 85, I just thought to myself 'you are still in the running' instead of freaking out.
