To all CNA's

I want to say, from the bottom of my heart, how deeply I appreciate each and every one of you. :heartbeat

You probably don't hear it enough.....you ARE the backbone of healthcare. You ARE the nurses eyes and ears. You know everything about all your patients. You do your job not for the pay, but for the patients. You don't get paid nearly enough for all that you do. You have some of the most undesirable tasks.....and you still manage to do them with a smile on you face. Amazing.

I am a first year LPN student. I have had 3 days at a clinical site so far, mostly doing CNA work. I don't know how you do it. It is really backbreaking, exhausting, demanding work.

I just wanted to say thank you for all you do everyday. This is one future nurse that will NEVER take her CNA's for granted.

Although I haven't worked as an aide in 7 years, I'd still like to thank you for your positive comment. We need more uplifting, invigorating posters like you to spread cheer on these forums. Please come back very soon!

Well that was sweet! I'm another one of those soon to be nurses that won't ever take a CNA for granted.

Thank you so much! It is true, many times we don't hear a lot of appreciation from staff, but I personally have had so many patients send me thank-you cards and one bought me flowers! It really makes me feel good to see that there are people who do appreciate us! :)
