Titusville

My family and I are moving to titusville from a small town in iowa at the end of the month. I am a RN with 5+ years in pediatric home health as a LPN/RN. I also have 2 years during that time as a supervising RN (hiring, paperwork for the cases, scheduling etc). I should have my florida license soon. I am looking for advice on how to transition to hospital work and would also like to know a salary range (just a general idea is fine) for the area. Any recommendations on where to apply/not apply? I am really liking forward to our move! Thanks so much!

Bump?

I can speak for Titusville, but can tell you that in my area of Florida (Jacksonville) new grad RNs make anywhere from $21-25/hr in the hospital setting. Obviously you have experience which would make it more than that. Sorry I can't be of more help :( Best of luck with the move!

Thanks for the reply! :)

Hey. As soon as you get your Florida Liscense you shouldn't have any problem applying to the local hospital and getting a job. Just apply online and call the HR dept within a week. From what I'm told that area needs nurses still sit your in luck

Awesome! Thanks so much! I Got my license and have been putting in apps the last few days. Wasn't sure if I should call or if the hospitals look down on that like I'm bothering them. Thanks for the advice!

Your welcome. They like to know who's serious so they don't waste time. Your just contacting them to see about a position
