I just put this up on another thread, and it occured to me that it should be its own thread, LOL....
Ok, time for a Group Breathing Session!!
Everybody ready? Good!
Sit up straight, fold your hands in front of you on the desk. Close your eyes (ok, do this after you're done reading!!). Take a long, slow breath in, hold it for a second, let it out long and slow. Repeat three or four times. Say to yourself (out loud, or in your head), "I am going to pass this exam. I have passed hard exams in nursing school, and I GRADUATED nursing school. This is only one test and I am SO ready for it. There's no way I'm going to fail, I'm better than that. The number of questions I have to answer means NOTHING; I will get just as many right as I need to to PASS. When the computer shuts off, it's because I PASSED."
Print this and refer to as necessary :)

I am TOTALLY serious about this taking one minute to relax thing. I do it occasionally at my computer, and while I'm deep breathing, I swear I calm WAY down. I'm not even anxious, lol, just get aggravated at some of the stupid rationales I'm finding! So when I start yelling at the screen....BREATHE.
That positive imagery really does work. No negatives. Focus and good oxygenation status
Bump :)
