Ticks!

Our district is in the heart of the Ozarks. Lets just say we have a ton of ticks.

Today alone I have had probably 10 kids in with bites. Bites that are all swelled up, knots, oozing. Pretty intense for a tick bite.

Any school nurse tricks to help eliminate the pain and itching of the bites. Regular anti-itch cremes are not doing it!!

Doesn't everyone chew tobacco in the Ozarks? Tape a poultice of spit soaked Red Man on that bite and it'll be gone tomorrow!!
