Thoughts on Remar Review

I am a repeat NCLEX-RN taker and I have purchased, so many books and programs plus tutors that it is overwhelming. I have the following: Kaplan (in person and online) books, Hurst, Saunders, LaCharity, UWorld, NCSBN, Remar Quick Facts and so many others. I have no motivation at all. I am embarrassed that I have taken this test more than 2x and afraid to retake again. I cannot see myself in any other career besides nursing. I graduated in August 2013 with Honors and I do not understand why I cannot surpass this exam.

I am across Remar Review as my last hope. I am contemplating in purchasing it, because I do not want to add to my collection of programs sitting in my garage. When I try to study my mind just wonders (ADD kicks - visual learner).

What are your thoughts on Remar Review Self-Study DVD program? Did you like it? Did you pass?

Hi NurseAlzar, RN - First off let me say that I am a repeat test taker as well. I have tried a few of the same materials as you to no avail. Currently I am 92% done with Remar online academy. I enjoy it as Regina is straight to the point. Her quick facts book is wonderful! I received it as a gift and truly hope to pass this time around. Best of luck to you!!

FYI: Per TOS you should revisit your screen name.

Thank you for the recommendation. Did you also buy the Self - Help DVDs?

I just noticed that the Self - Help and Academy are different!

No. The only difference is the self you get to keep the dvd's And the online academy is only a 60 day access. I chose that because I need deadlines or I will procrastinate. :)
