Third Nclex attempt

So I used allnurses a lot and really wanted to put my testimony up since so many had helped me. Unfortunately, today I don't have a success story. Tool my NCLEX this morning for my 3rd time. The first two times I ran out of time and was unsuccessful in obtaining a license. Now I've been out of school a full year I graduated May 2013 its now June 2014. I prepared everyday for 6 weeks no fun, no job, all books. I used saunders 6th edition for questions did 100+ everyday on study mode and then alternated study mode to testing 50 questions a piece. I listened to all of marlene's lectures from hurst which was very helpful. My test shut off this morning at 111 questions. Felt confident did the pearson trick and no good pop up. It sucks.... I just wanna know what else to do. I used Kaplan and prep U for questions my first 2 attempts and scored 78 on question trainer 1 this time around. average scores were 60s. Can someone help me pass this thing I don't want to give up.

NJ PN. Failed once. Keep at it... I certainly will

what were your scores on the other question trainers and did you finish the whole kaplan bank??

What were the below passing categories?

The issue may not necessarily the source of the review, but how one approaches the NCLEX itself: understanding the four concepts of becoming a competent, entry-level nurse:

1. Safe, effective care;

2.Health promotion;

3.Physiological Integrity;

4.Psychosocial integrity

Will determine WHAT the question is asking you; the question may be Respiratory related-but is it a Health Promotion or a Safety, or a Physiological or a Psychosocial one? Would you know the difference and choose the BEST answer?

Once one understands the concepts of NCLEX, they can do so successfully.

Best wishes.
