Thinking about becoming a LPN

Published

Hi, My name is Ellen. I'm 44 years old and have currently finished up the PSW course and I am working for Red Cross. I am interested in taking the LPN course next and would love to hear from others who have changed their directions in mid-life. I spent the last 10 years in Business (my own) and 10 years working in administration. (mostly accounting). I was looking for a change but now I am looking for more challenge. I don't mind the job of a PSW but I don't think I want to do it long term. Let me know your experiences as a mature student.

Specializes in Education, FP, LNC, Forensics, ED, OB.
