Ok so i took nclex-rn today, ran out of time at quest 245 (yea i know, im a slow test taker) but this was my 2nd time so i really took my time to think about each quest and answer. Anyway i know that when running out of time they only grade the last 60 quest. My quest is what if most of them were lower level? Also i heard if you get more quest right than wrong then you pass. What if i got 31 of my last 60 right, does this indicate i passed. Please any advise is appreciated. I Know i need to just be patient and wait it out. But it's soooooooo hard.
Thanks in advance!!!!!!

When did you took your nclex exam? I took mine last Aug. 13th with 236 questions and ran out of time too. Please pray for me!

There are about 10,000 RN NCLEX questions in the database.
Think of each one as being ranked on a number line, easiest to hardest. They are.
For each question you get right, the next is more difficult. For each you get wrong, the next question is less difficult.
Passing is ending the test at a more difficult level than the minimum score.
IF ALL of the last 60 questions are above that minimum level, you pass. You can still miss, but, when you do, the next lower question can't take you below the minimum passing difficulty level, at any point, in the last 60, or, you fail.
The test actually tests two things: your level of difficulty, and the confidence at which the computer can ascertain that. Some people are just erratic enough (NERVES!) that the computer can't peg them. Just because the computer didn't stop DOESN'T mean that you were 'borderline'. You could have been above the passing standard, with lots of room to give, or below.
I read somewhere and have linked multiple times in different threads, that odds of passing if the test stops is just below 50%. So, you DO have nearly a 50-50 chance of passing; more than enough to keep your hopes up.
Good luck.

I tested yesterday aug 15th. How do you think you did on your test. Mine felt like it went back and forth from easy to hard to easy quest, that's why im so scared i don't know what the computer thought about me. But i will keep you in my prayers.
