The Irritable Zone

When us 4 sibs were young and my mother would be a bit irritated, she would say, "I'm going to send you back to the Indians!" We were enthusiastic about the idea, but she never did send us back.

The one we laughed at when young, but stopped when we were older, because it made us think: "Hmmm, wait a minute!" She'd say, "Oh dear/ Bread and beer/ If I wasn't married/ I wouldn't be here." Oe brother said, "But then, none of us would be here, either." ......and she'd smile.....
