Texas Tech FNP Program Spring 2012

Published

Anyone applying to Texas Tech FNP Program for Spring 2012? How many students are taken into the program? Any responses would be greatly appreciated?

Specializes in EMS, ED, Trauma, CEN, CPEN, TCRN.

Moved to the post-grad forum (vs. the GN forum) to encourage responses.

Hi Trellzz did you get in , i also applied for spring 2012.

viranimehboob,

I applied for Spring 2012. I was told they only accept 30% of total applicants. Which is not alot when you have over 400 applicants. How long did it take to get your notification and did they tell why you were not accepted and ways to increase your chances. That makes me real nervous and anxoius! Keep me posted when you hear something. There is not alot of discussion on texas tech fnp.

have you heard anything from texas tech????

no! how long did it take the first time you applied?

Hi there,

I'm barely holding back the anxiety attack. I sure hope they don't check how many times I've logged on to Merlin.

No interview date yet but I found a random page at TTSON that says interviews this year will be in Austin Oct 24, 25, 26. If that is true, it's getting a little close.

I'm feeling a little weirded out.

Hi trellz i think it took almost 6 weeks for me to send e-mail that i was not selected. we should hear by end of oct.

I am praying for you, please pray for me,

Thanks

Interview invitations have now gone out for Oct 24, 25,26. Selection will be first week of Nov I'm told.

For the FNP Program???? I was told there was no interview process, just the essay questions.. Now I am confused.

Sorry for the confusion. It's for the second degree BSN 12-month program to start in January.

See if this will give you some more info: go to your application. At the very end of the application there are some disclaimer pages that outline exact dates for interviews (if applicable), essays and final invitations to the program. It took a while but that's where I found mine.

Getting the info can't be that different.

Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for clarifying. Good Luck!
