A applied to TTUHSC AG-ACNP's program. The deadline was Jan 15th, 2015. I'm starting this post for those of us that applied, please let us know when you hear from them! I know we're all anxiously awaiting the end of this 6-8 week limbo! FNP applicants welcome to comment, as well as other advanced practice specialties.

The "end of March" is so close, yet so far!! I feel like my life is at a standstill, waiting on the decision email! I'm not sure what I'll decide to do if I don't get in. TTUHSC is my first choice, the only one I've applied to. I dread the thought of going through multiple application processes. A lot is riding on this, I pretty much have a job lined up and really awesome intensivists to precept me, I just need to get accepted in the program!

Hello all,

I applied to Texas tech and had even went their undergrad for Bachelors in History, and I have a 4.0 they did not accept me. They are looking for people I think that are from the lubbock area. I was pretty upset….but everything happens for a reason.

Good luck but if you don't get it do not be sad because they don't have enough teachers…so they accept a VERY small percentage of applicants… I would suggest for you all to apply to multiple schools…because this was my initial mistake also…and I had to wait another year to apply….It's worth the effort. How bad do you want it ;)

I still haven't heard anything. I guess we'll see. Sorry to hear that. Keep on trying! I also applied at UTA. Try there too

So sorry to hear that - I know from your post how badly you want this. Keep at it though and don't lose heart. You'll get in - reapply-your chances are better the second time around.
