Texas Tech - Fall 2015

I applied for the FNP track. I'm so ready to hear back, the waiting is killing me!

I also applied for the FNP track and I'm anxiously waiting

They said we'd hear back at the end of the month.

The "end of March" is so close, yet so far!! I feel like my life is at a standstill, waiting on the decision email! I'm not sure what I'll decide to do if I don't get in. TTUHSC is my first choice, the only one I've applied to. I dread the thought of going through multiple application processes. A lot is riding on this, I pretty much have a job lined up and really awesome intensivists to precept me, I just need to get accepted in the program!

I applied to Texas tech and had even went their undergrad for Bachelors in History, and I have a 4.0 they did not accept me. They are looking for people I think that are from the lubbock area. I was pretty upset….but everything happens for a reason.

Good luck but if you don't get it do not be sad because they don't have enough teachers…so they accept a VERY small percentage of applicants… I would suggest for you all to apply to multiple schools…because this was my initial mistake also…and I had to wait another year to apply….It's worth the effort. How bad do you want it

I heard today...and I was accepted!

So sorry to hear that - I know from your post how badly you want this. Keep at it though and don't lose heart. You'll get in - reapply-your chances are better the second time around.
