Texas BSN programs that accept TEAS

Hi All,

I'm from California but want to apply to schools in Texas. I have no idea how transferring out of state works though. I plan to take the TEAS, but have heard some schools only accept the HESI. Does anyone know which universities accept the TEAS. I was hoping to go the the Houston area, but I'm having trouble finding schools there.

Texas Womens University has a satellite in Houston. They accept the TEAS test.

Texas Woman's University accepts the TEAS, as well as University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

If you did well on your TEAS I would highly recommend taking the HESI. The HESI is so much easier than the TEAS. Houston Baptist accepts the HESI as well as UT in the medical center of Houston. St Thomas University (also in Houston) accepts the HESI.
