Hello all, I am an RN for 8 years in a small rural hospital and would like to take telemetry certification to possibly work as travel nurse. I know there is an online course through NTA for telemetry nurse, but I prefer to take the course in person so I can get feedback right away. And the only course I see that are available in community colleges is Telemetry Monitor Technician which does not say for nurses. Is this course enough to take the NTA certification?
That is a question for the NTA and a school counselor. I do know that Telemetry techs usually know their stuff. I cannot tell you how it transfers to professional licensure.
