Teas V Exam

Hey everybody I am kinda freaking out about this Teas exam. I have heard mixed feedback from others about it. What's the scoop? Is it really that hard and what is the best way to study for it? Do you have any suggestions for study books? I am shooting for a 90% or higher since my school uses your Teas score as part of their admissions. How can I get there? I thank you all in advance and look forward to your advice! :)

Don't stress out too much on it. I felt that the reason part was most difficult for me because it was a lot if questions for such short time. Math is a piece of cake, so don't worry. Science is broad but they are all general questions. If you are using the study guide from the ATI, their science reviews do not cover everything they have on the exam. Grammar part is like high school level. All the formats are exactly the same like the ATI study guide. I highly recommend it.

If you want above a 90% then yes you will need to put in work. The TEAS test itself is not hard, however there are tons of little details here and there that will cost you many points if you don't get them down, hence why studying is necessary. It helps to have your science prerequisites done as well. Studying the ATI guide, along with the McGraw 5 Practice Teas tests book will help as well. For me, I had the same goal as you. I dedicated 1-3 hours each day for studying the TEAS test for around 2-3 months. You just have to get started somehow, and be persistent in keeping your study time. The ATI book has provided most of the study material, but in the science section, you may need to know a bit more than the information provided, hence why taking A&P will help. As for the other sections, it's quite straightforward. Just practice and definitely do not discount studying!! hehe. I wish you the best of luck!
