I was curious about the TEAS Test. I will be taking the test on Nov 3. I was accepted into the Nursing Program in the spring of 09' at Palomar College in California (Pending passing the TEAS!). I know everyone is different at test taking, but I thought that I would get some opinions about it. I have the ATI study guide and was thinking about buying the on-line practice test. Would the test be worth buying? Help! I have been putting this test off because of people telling me how hard it is!

I honestly thought it was easy, but I also scored in the 90 something percentile. Basically, its your average standardized test. How did you do on standardized tests in high school? If you scored high on those, you will probably score high on this test. The practice tests are good to show you if there's a topic you should learn before the test. Good luck!!!

I agree with Suey--its not as bad as some say. I thought it was more of a pain than anything--my school trying to get more $$ out of me in test fees.
The ATI book is fine...I did buy the additional materials online and they were not worth it. Have you taken your NS pre-requisites? Math, Eng, basic Bio/Chem? If so, then I'd recommend just doing the work in the ATI book and look up whatever you miss.
Good luck!!
