Hi. I just completed this TEAS Test a few weeks ago. It reminded me of the typical College placement test. It took me a couple hours to do all of the section. My school required a 70 % to pass and I managed to pull it off! Good Luck!

Hi,

I'm not sure if you've already taken the TEAS as this is sort of an old thread, but I'd recommend brushing up on your grammar (when to use I, who, whom, etc.) and basic math like fractions, decimals, and percentages. The science section is crazy random so I wouldn't even bother studying for that unless you go ahead and buy the TEAS study guide from ATI. I didn't use that myself but I've heard good things about it. I went in and didn't study and got an 83.5%. Then I re-took it after brushing up on some basic grammar and math skills and got an 87.7%. Eh. Wanted atleast over a 90%, but I'm not too concerned since the school I'm really aiming for requires the NET, not the TEAS :)

Anyway, over all I'd just brush up on the basics. My science section included Geology topics like mountains, clouds, bugs, flowers, etc. but I've heard that the science section is different in different locations.

Best of luck! :heartbeat

i used the ati study guide for everything except science.

i had a little trouble with the science part the first time around. needless to say, i totally bombed!!!!

i did some research and found out that many people used the mcgraw hills nursing entrance exam book for the science section. i downloaded it and passed! what a relief that was! i didnt "ace" it, my score was in the mid 80's. that was good enough for me!

hope this helps!

Make sure you know your metric conversions! For example, how to convert degrees Celcius to degrees Farenheit and vice versa..
