Hey! This is my first post so I am not really sure how this works;). I am taking the TEAS test in a week and a half and was wondering if buying the study guide would really help me out that much. The school I am applying to only does the Math and Reading part of the test. I have heard that those two parts were a cake walk, so do you think it will be worth the money to buy the study guide? Or just take the online practice tests?

I bought the study manual and it was a huge help for me. The math is not difficult but you're not allowed to use a calculator on the TEAS test and for me there were so many basic problems that I had forgotten how to do without a calculator like dividing fractions and exponents. Then there were things I hadn't even done since high school like solving for absolute values! The other thing is that there are a lot of charts and graphs in the study manual that are almost identical to the ones on the actual test so going into the test I felt really prepared. Good luck!
Thanks for the quick reply - I wasn't sure how this whole thing worked. I think I am going to purchase the study guide but I had another question -- I have been reading about two different study guides for the TEAS test. Is one better than the other as far as preparing you for the test? I have access to the McGraw Hill one, but I have heard of an ATI study guide... Which one did you use?

ATI is always better for things related to nursing school! Good luck
I think it depends on which version of the TEAS you are taking. I took version V last month and the study manual I purchased through ati was specific to that version. You should probably also check with the school and maybe they might be able to recommend the study guide that would be most helpful.

Good luck studying! I will be taking the test in a couple of months & heard the ATI study guide is a must.
Does anyone know, can a Mac properly run the online ATI practice test for TEAS?
