TEAS TEST HELP!

I'm in the process of applying to nursing school, and I was wondering what the best free online websites were for practice and study tools. And also if buying the study guide from ATI was worth the money.

If you check out the TEAS section in the Nursing Student section, you'll find a lot of good information.

I highly recommend you read this thread: https://allnurses.com/teas-exam-help/how-i-passed-804222.html

I don't know of many sources that are free for TEAS material and practice tests. I think the only practice test that will be anything like the actual test is the one on the ATI website that you have to pay for. That's not to say you HAVE to do it. There are plenty of other resources.

For the TEAS study guide, I wouldn't spend the money to buy it. Too expensive for something you'll need temporarily. You can rent it on Amazon really cheap for, I think, 2 months. The study guide does very well at covering (or at least informing you of) the different material you will find on the test. Between using the study guide and the link to the post that I posted, it'll give you a good idea of what you'll need to focus your attention on.

Having said that, some good study aids are Khan Acadamy and YouTube. I particularly like Crash Course. There are also several other videos that will take you step by step in processes/procedures/etc. For practicing math, I used coolmath.com where I was able to find several types of problems from the books. It gave me numerous problems to work out for hours until I fully understood the method.

I hope these help some, but definitely check out the TEAS section as you'll probably find a lot more information. Good luck!
