TEAS test help

Published

hello,

I'm taking my TEAS test in about a week. I'm nervous about it, because I don't know what to expect. I'm mainly worried about the math and chemistry parts. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Thanks for your help

it's just basics, the science part is the hardest, b/c it covers several areas of science.

Thanks for the info. Thats what I thought, but wasn't to sure about. I wasn't about to take it when I thought, so now I have alittle time to study.

Thank you again

So can anyone give me a little more info on what to exxpect on the TEAS test? I had read some stuff that the Math covers basically long division, fractions, decimals, measurements...is there a lot of algebra?

The Science I hear is a lot of A & P questions. Is there a lot of Biology questions?

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps!! :)

What is the TEAS test?? I have been a nurse for 16 years and other than the routine med test given during orientation, I have never had to take a TEAS or PBSD? I keep hearing about them, mainly on travel boards? Isn't the NCLEX enough??

The TEAS is a test you have to take before getting into the nursing program. Its kinda like taking SAT's.

Ahh..I thought it was a test the hospitals use during orientation like the PBSD? Good Luck!!

There is a sticky thread about the teas in the students tab. It has many answers in it. The teas does have biology but it depends on which version you are taking. I have only taken teas V and it has a lot of questions on chemistry and cellular biology. The science portion is very random.
