TEAS 7

Hello, I was wondering if anyone took the TEAS 7 yet and created this post so we can help each other out and give out info on what we heard or learned about the new exam. Any info will help out thank you.

Hi guys,

the facebook TEAS study group by Smart Edition is incredibly helpful, I highly recommend. I got 100 on the exam and all my tips are in that group. Plus happy to answer questions if you want to message me there or here. I start the program January but happy to help as many as I can as im very grateful for the support I got and want to pay it forward ?

What resources did you use to obtain an 100 on the TEAS?

Hi,

I used smart edition and Mometrix books. I did a ton of practice exams and also bought the ATI practice exam package (there’s 2 plus a bonus science exam and you can do each one twice). That was all I used but my science prerequisites were all fairly fresh. I also did some math practice questions out of an old GED textbook.

Thank you for your fast reply

Anyone took TEAS 7 please. My exam soon and if there is any practice test or quiz-list that help me to review the material. I feel nervous about it. TIA

I hope, if you already took the exam, you did amazing. If you still need help, Mometrix is an amazing website with free practice tests and YouTube videos explaining each section; however, the courses and books aren't free. At least, I don't think so. Right now, I am preparing for my test this Spring.

Mometrix is great - harder than the real exam. Smart Edition is also really good and I also bought the ATI practice exams A and B. Do as many practice exams as you can.

What formulas and conversions do we have to memorize for the math portion? And for A&P, will you get questions from each body system for sure, or is it randomized and you may only get questions on a few different body systems?

Are the Mometrix practice test questions equivalent in difficulty to the actual TEAS questions, or is the actual TEAS more difficult?

Taking the exam on June 21st for the first time!

Hi everyone! I am applying for nursing school (LPN) in a few weeks. Just took the ATI TEAS test 7 on March 6, 2024. I used their test A and B and their anatomy and physiology test that I believe cost around $100. I did not do so well on the first round of each. I did better on the second. I really struggled in math and rarely got 70 or better. I got high 90s for language on all tests that I practiced on. When I took the test today, I expected the same results but instead I got a 92 in math and a 66 in language. It makes me really question the test because I took over seven practice tests altogether, and I was very consistent in my scores and these are absolutely not representative of my prior scores at all. I am a former teacher of 14 years. I am good with language. I read some other comments where people had the same results and are questioning the test. Left extremely disappointed with a 78.7%. I have a B.S. with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. I graduated in 1993 and feel that I would have earned a better score if I was fresh out of high school. Oh well, I hope I get in and I will have to try harder at everything.
