TEAS...SCIENCE HELP

Published

Does the ATI study guide adequately prepare one for the science portion of the TEAS V? If not, can someone make a recommendation or suggestion? I have read several posts that suggest A&P I, Chemistry and Micro should be taken prior to taking the TEAS. I have only taken Chemistry and A&P I. Is micro absolutely necessary to get a good result from the test? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ive heard the ATI study guide for TEAS V does not prepare someone for the actual science portion.

I've heard there is a lot of chemistry on the actual test so I think if you have recently had AP and Chem you should be OK.

ATI offers practice tests online, you could always try one and see how you do..on the forums here a lot of ppl have said the practice tests were even harder than the real one..so if you get a good pass rate on the practice then I would think you are adequately prepared.

thanks for the reply

Does anyone now if you buy the practice tests from ATI if you can copy them into a word document (or similar) to go back and study? I just do not want to spend the $35 to find out that once I take it, the test and answers disappear.

Good question, mamajjr. I need that answer as well. If we don't hear something, I will let you know in about a week. I am going to buy the practice tests when I get a little studying done. I just found out 2 days ago that I am scheduled for the Jan 24th TEAS 4.0 test.

I found the TEAS V book at Barnes N Noble last night. I wish they had a book 4.0. They had a book 3.0 but it said nothing of 3.0/4.0 or any 4.0 on it. Can someone clarify which book I really need and where I can get it quick? Good luck to everyone taking this test!!

I have the practice tests and you can retake them, so i suppose you could write them out word for word.

Thank you, science in flowers.

Are these practice tests from the book or from the internet?
