TEAS math

Trying to get accepted in the lpn to rn bridge program. I took the teas and passed all but the math. I took it today for the second time and failed again. Anyone out there had the same experience? I hate math and very weak in it. Can do nursing math fine. Only lack 3 of my pre req and algebra is one of them. I'm thinking I need to take a remedial math and then my algebra. After that then retake the teas. Thanks in advance for any comments.

I took remedial math or pre- algebra before college algebra and it helped so much! I didn't take the TEAS before my math courses but when I took it afterwards I did great. I was very surprised because I have always been awful with math. I am in the nursing program now and the math isn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. I made a 93 on my last medmath test! Personally, I think it's a great idea to take pre-algebra before college algebra because it helped me so much. Good luck!!

I haven't even had any algebra. I do have almost all of my pre reqs except algebra and chemisty. Been saving them for last. Did not take them in high because they were not a requirement then. Going to take a pre-algrebra in the summer before I retest. Thanks so much for the comment.

get the teas study guide, it went over everything.
